Fun Web 2.0 Resources

Looking for some fun activities to use at home on those rainy summer days?!? Here are some great Web 2.0 resources that you can try. Remember to always get your parents permission when registering for accounts. Most of these sites will allow you to enter as a guest instead if you are not able to register.

  • Smilebox – Great for making Slide Shows, eCards, Scrapbooks, and much more. Only for use on PC’s though! So as of right now I have no samples!
  • Flickr - Allows you to upload your photos and share them online with friends and family. When you have uploaded your photos to flickr, they can be easily integrated into many of these other Web 2.0 resources quickly.
  • Scrapblog - Website that allows you to make digital scrapbook pages. You can incorporate your digital photos, videos, and music into the pages that you make. Thousands of layouts to choose from. Click here to view my sample.
  • Want to make your own webpage. Check out Mr. Robb’s TechnoCheetah Blog. Mr. Robb is a Technology Teacher at Bellows Springs Elementary. He posted some great ideas on making your own webpage. Enjoy!

Congratulations 5th Graders!

On Friday June 13th, our very own PRES 5th graders were cheered on as they exited the building. Kids in grades K-4 lined the halls and cheered their fellow students. Later that day the 5th graders officially graduated at Reservoir High School. Congratulations 5th graders! Much luck and success as you enter Middle School!

K is for Kindergarten

Mrs. Eulitt’s Kindergarten class worked hard in Technology class to make an alphabet book about their year. They used Pixie to draw a picture and type a sentence about their alphabet letter. Then they used the record feature to read their sentence. Ms. Clark took all their hard work and compiled into a Movie. Credit for the title goes to the book K is for Kick by Brad Herzog. I think you can agree Mrs. Eulitt’s class did a great job!
